Blake Shelton’s Tattoos, House, Net Worth

Tattoos are definitely here to stay, despite the fact that they are incredibly difficult to remove, they have become an integral part of popular culture. Almost every artist out there has somebody art to offer, and the king of country music is no exception. So here is without further ado everything we could find out about Blake Shelton’s tattoos.

Blake Shelton’s tattoos

On a very good day, most of the tattoos we read about have a deep, hidden, even mystical meaning. Unfortunately for Blake, but fortunately for the worldwide humor, his tattoos do have a meaning, but it’s not as deep as one would expect.

The country singer can forge a good ballad by using the power of his mind and his God-given talent, but when it comes to creating tattoos, he should leave that to the professionals. On his forearm, the artist has a piece of body art that he has described as “one of the shittiest tattoos in the world”. It’s actually two separate tattoos combined and here is, as we know.

Blake explained that the tattoo was actually meant to be a deer track, but to this day, people bravely walk up to him and say, ‘Man, ladybug… that’s cool. What does that mean to you? It probably stings more because he drew it himself, not everything, just a ‘ladybug’.

Blake Shelton’s tattoos on TV

The whole story came out when Oprah sat down with the cast of ‘The Voice’, a show he hosts, and believe me, the story behind Blake Shelton’s tattoo was addressed. When Oprah asked what Blake Shelton’s tattoo meant, he quickly replied, “It doesn’t mean crap, Oprah. He explained to her that it wasn’t deer shit, as his tattooed host Adam Levine mentioned.

He then went on to explain the inspiration, which includes his Oklahoma background and his love of deer. However, one drunken night and an even drunker tattoo artist landed him with several deer tracks that look like ladybirds or, according to Adam Levine, deer droppings.

Blake is smart, so without going on the show ‘Tattoo Nightmares’, has he solved the problem, or has he? We’ll let you be the judge of that. The artist later added barbed wire to make it look more manly. So you see, it’s two tattoos, not one.

Blake Shelton’s House

Apart from his marital home with his ex-wife Miranda Lambert, Blake has a few things to do.

Apparently the artist has built his new house, which is only an hour away from his hometown of Ada, Oklahoma. Next to the breathtaking natural scenery is the 1200 hectare ‘Ten Point Ranch’ on the banks of Texoma, which, as the name suggests, crosses the state border between Oklahoma and Texas. The house also has a private jetty at the end of the large garden and a balcony overlooking the lake.

When he is not in Oklahoma, the artist is in his Beverly Hills rental, which has been compared to a fraternity house. The reason is that the house doesn’t meet the standards of Hollywood ‘glamour’ and ‘sophistication’, but Blake makes it easy. The house is bare, empty and unfurnished, but we doubt he would mind, considering he spends most of his time with his new girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

Besides, his real home is in Oklahoma and his only use for it is to have a roof over his head while he films ‘The Voice’. As such he doesn’t take on the seemingly unnecessary duty of polishing up his ‘crash pad’.

Just last month it was announced that the star is building a Hawaiian-style house as a wedding gift and family outing for his bride-to-be, Gwen Stefani. The trip is in Blake’s home state of Oklahoma, so he’s bringing home his vacation.

When the couple whose wedding is scheduled to take place before the end of the year settles down, it will obviously be in Oklahoma. Blake has taken his girlfriend to his hometown and to his fabulous ranch. The locals have already fallen in love with her and some even prefer her to his ex Miranda. On the other hand, some people are beginning to miss their peace and quiet.

No doubt a celebrity couple moving in nearby makes the town a beacon for attention and the dreaded paparazzi.
