Who Is Lasercorn (David Moss)

Lasercorn is an avid gamer who became famous for presenting his skills as an expert online. He was born on April 23rd, 1984 in Ohio. Not much is known about Lasercorn’s background, apart from the few details he shared online. When it comes to his family, he largely keeps his mouth shut. It is known, however, that his father’s name is Jeff Moss, and from a video of him posted on his channel on June 10, 2014, it appears that Jeff is a funny, loving guy and probably had little trouble when young Dave stayed up all night practicing his moves. In this video, Moss was playing against his father while his friend Sohinki was playing against his father in a match they called “Grudge Match”.

David Moss was just another regular American until he became famous on YouTube. Before he used the video-sharing platform to showcase his talents, Moss worked as a lifeguard. According to his “About” page on his YouTube channel, David Moss joined the video-sharing platform on 7 September 2009. However, before the channel gained traction, Moss used his comics page to work as a presenter for Clevver Games. At Clevver Games, he became known with his character “Riot Shield Man”.

Apart from that, he was also involved with Mahalo Games. His skills on these two channels attracted the attention of Smosh founders Hecox and Padilla, who used him in SmoshGames along with four others. SmoshGames was a merger that came about when Smosh bought Clevver Games. David Moss was one of the main presenters of the Smosh Games channel, which uploads numerous weekly shows with video game commentary. The channel quickly became popular and Lasercorn gained wide recognition.

His affiliation with the Smosh founders also led to his appearance on their original Smosh channel, where he hosted several shows. He became known for hosting shows like Gamer Nation, Why We’re Single, and Dope! or Nope! Lasercorn’s appearance on Smosh only proved his versatility. Since then he has added actors and writers to his repertoire. He appeared in the movie Smosh: The Movie in 2015.

With the fame Moss gained with Smosh, his Lasercorn channel also gained traction. As of August 2017, Lasercorn stopped working full-time on Smosh Games. He is now concentrating mainly on Toaster Ghost, a new project he founded together with his long-time friends Sohinki, Amy Lynn (Misshabit), and Pamela Horton. Although the station was announced as active in August 2017, it was founded in February 2016. It has over 2 million viewers and over 57,000 subscribers.

Lasercorn continues to appear occasionally on Smosh Games. On his back, he has a tattoo of a unicorn shooting with a laser from a rocket launcher. When a friend of his saw the tattoo, he asked if it was okay to call him Lasercorn, and he immediately fell in love with the name.

Yes, David Moss is a married man. He’s married to a fitness trainer named Sabrina Moss. From the photos of her that Lasercorn posted online, it appears she’s obviously of African-American descent. Moss sometimes refers to her as the Laserwoman.

Does He Have A Son?

The couple has a son together. His name is Tyler Moss and he was born January 28, 2015. He is the couple’s first son. Lasercorn went to his Instagram page about two months after his son was born to announce his arrival. He labeled the photo “BabySharkCorn” and in a very short time, it received over 20,000 favors.
