The American boxer known in the ring as “The Dream” was born on November 17, 1998, in San Francisco as Devin Miles Haney, but he grew up in Oakland.
Thanks to his father William Haney, who is a trainer and boxing manager, he started boxing at a very young age. To further his boxing career, Devin and his father moved to Las Vegas when he was only 7 years old. He caught the eye of Floyd Mayweather Snr. who also trained him.

In his third fight in 2016 against Jorge Edgar Sillas, Devin needed a decision to win the fight before he could defeat Roman Melendez in a knockout. In the United States, Devin had his first fight against Rafael Vazquez on April 9, 2016, from which he emerged victorious thanks to a unanimous decision. The next fight was against Jairo Fernandez Vargas, which ended in favor of Devin, who knocked Vargas out.
With a win over Mason Menard on May 11, 2018, Devin had entered the ring as a professional boxer a total of nineteen times. He won six fights by unanimous decision, while thirteen fights were won by knockout. In his last 10 fights, he only won two by decision, while the rest were won by knockout. Interestingly, after nineteen fights, he still hasn’t lost or drawn a fight.
In his years as a professional boxer, he has won a number of titles, including the World Youth Championship.
