Details On Why He Left Critical Role

There are many stories that revolve around Orion’s reasons for leaving his role in the Critical Role. Many say it is because he has HIV, others say he verbally abused his ex-girlfriend (Corina Boettger) on social media and left his Tiberius role because of public embarrassment. Nevertheless, some people have insisted that he left his role because he was criticized for hosting a fundraiser for a volunteer host of his Twitch stream who suffered a tragic accident in which she lost her father but never received a cent from what was collected or donated. Allegedly he decided to host a charity stream and donate the proceeds to her, but instead of giving her the money, he used it to buy things for himself. In fact, many people don’t like Orion at the moment because of the many “evil” things he supposedly did.

Well, it was not easy for the dubbing artist. The fact that many of his fans turn their backs on him and call him names are some of the things he had to struggle with and still does. Some new fans have done the same without knowing all the facts. So Orion decided to upload a video on YouTube in which he tells his fans why he left the critical role. In the video, he explained that he was involved with drugs and was later diagnosed with cancer and HIV. He felt so depressed and crippled that he sometimes felt insane. The vacuum left in him by the disease and the drugs made him say many things he should not have said to the public. He said he did not know why he left, but that he did not leave because the team forced him to. He assured those who watched his shows that he loved and missed them.

Orion expressed his interest in coming back to Twitch with his new girlfriend to continue the game, with a new channel, name, and all. Even though he received mixed comments in public, many of his fans still want him back in the game.
