Luke Harper Wife, Son, Family, Age, Height, Biography

Luke Harper is one of the best and most resistant fighters in Wrestlemania, who you should not mess with within the ring. Maybe you should keep an eye on him when you watch his fights because the wrestler can be pretty “slippery” if you know what I mean.

Aside from his long beards, there’s really so much more to know about the professional wrestler who fights under the name of Harper, and you’re about to find out.

Luke Harper Biography – Age

He was born on 16 December 1979 as Jon Harper in Rochester, New York. Wrestling was a leisure activity for him, an ordinary game while he was growing up. So it was for his brother, who also had a flair for wrestling.

Luke and his brother started as backyard wrestlers Huberboy #1 and Huberboy #2. Luke, who was Huberboy #2, graduated in backyard wrestling after being trained by Kirby Marcos during his stay in Rochester.

Harper soon developed into a professional and made his professional debut in 2002 when he wrestled for Roc City Wrestling (RCW). Luke, who at the time still stuck with his name Huberboy 2, later changed it to Brodie Lee during his time in Rochester Pro Wrestling (RPW). The name Brodie Lee was inspired by a Kevin Smith film Mall Rats, which featured a Harper lookalike named Brodie (in real life Jason Lee). Lee exuded greatness as he fought, set standards, and won heavyweight championships in RPW.

It was in 2007 that Chikara Wrestling Promotion got their hands on Huber. Although he lost to Equinox on his debut, he still believed in himself, and Chikara was far from doubting his potential. The fight was an unplanned confrontation when Brodie Lee, who only visited friends backstage, was asked to stand in for “Reckless Youth” who did not show up for the match. The substitution not only made him stronger but also prepared the ground on which he defeated Equinox in their subsequent fight and earned the respect of his opponents.

His Chikara experience included several match-ups with other wrestlers, name adoptions, and even bullying of small wrestlers. Harper became a major contender on the field, and other wrestlers chose to fight with him. He was challenged by many, including Claudio Castagnoli, with whom he had a longstanding feud.

He had another match in 2008 with Eddie Kingston and Grizzly Redwood. They formed a stable with the gimmick “The Roughnecks” and undertook several fights in which they defeated UltraMantis Black, Crossbones and Sami Callihan, and others.

In 2011 Chikara organized his first-ever individual championship, and Huber was inclined to take part. However, he withdrew from the competition due to an injury he suffered. He later retired from the promotion in 2012.

Before Chikara’s championship, Lee wrestled for Syracuse, the New York-based Squared Circle Wrestling (2CW) in 2007. From 2008 to 2009 he also worked in the Ring of Honour (RoH), where he teamed up with the stable “The Age of the Fall” and worked with other fighters to set the pace of modern wrestling.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling also had a feel for Lee’s stunts, as did Evolve, Dragon Gate USA, and Dragon Gate.

Luke Harper also had his first Smackdown fight in July 2012, when he defeated Rowan Tons of Funk alongside his tag teammate.

In 2014, the Wyatt family was disbanded; courtesy of the Vignettes, and Haper and Rowan became lone fighters. In July 2015, however, he returned to the Wyatt family and accumulated more victories.

Haper and Rowan revealed a new name in 2017: the Bludgeon Brothers. He returned to television on 10 October of the same year with an episode of Smackdown.

Luke Harper’s Family, Wife, and Son

Haper found love in the wrestling family. He married Synndy in 2008, who is also a professional wrestler. A chaotic world of wrestling and feuds soon turned out to be a love nest for the two.

In 2012 they had their first child, a son, Brodie. Little Brodie was named after Harper’s independent wrestling name, as he dropped the name after joining the WWE.

Luke Harper and his wife had another son in December 2017 when he fully joined WWE.
