Kris Bryant Bio, Age
Kristopher Lee Bryant was born on January 4, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, into a family of athletes. His father, Mike, played minor league baseball for the Boston Red Sox. Following in his father’s footsteps, Bryant became interested in baseball at a very early age and his father gave him his full support.
In fact, Bryant’s father had to sell his patio furniture business and took a less demanding job just so he could coach Bryant. As a boy, Byrant played baseball with his Las Vegas roommates and future MLB colleagues Bryce Harper and Joey Gallo.
Kris Bryant impressed so much in high school that the Toronto Blue Jays voted him into the 18th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. However, Bryant refused to sign and instead chose to go to college, where he played for the University of San Diego Toreros baseball team. In college, Bryant broke many records and won many awards, making him one of the best players available for the 2013 MLB Draft.
He was selected by the Chicago Cubs to spend the next year improving his minor league skills before being called up to the major league in April 2015. Bryant had an amazing rookie year and was named National League (NL) Rookie of the Year and MLB All-Star.
Kris Bryant continued to accumulate awards and successes, but by far the most outstanding is his win in the 2016 World Series.
Kris Bryant has become known for his amazing statistics. This began during his college years when he won the coveted Dick Howser Trophy and the Golden Spikes Awards in 2013. Starting in June 2018, Bryant’s professional MLB statistics will include
Batting average: .228
Home runs: 102

Salary, Net Worth
After being selected by the Cubs in the 2013 draft, Bryan received a signing bonus of $6.7 million. During his rookie season, he earned $471,448 and after an outstanding rookie season, Bryant received a 33% salary increase to $652,000.
Before the end of the 2017 season, Bryant and the Cubs agreed on a deal for $1.05 million for one year, which would be the highest salary for a player before the arbitration that would break the record that Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels held, who received $1 million in 2014.
Kris Bryant broke another salary record in 2018 for a player in his first year eligible for arbitration when he agreed to receive a salary of $10.85 million from the Cubs. He broke a ten-year record previously held by Ryan Howard, who agreed to receive a $10 million salary from the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008. Beginning in 2018, Kris Bryant has earned approximately $20 million in MLB salaries alone.
Like any other star athlete, Bryant increases his income through sponsorship deals. He once worked as a brand ambassador for EXPRESS. Kris Byrant is estimated to have net assets of $8 million, a figure that will surely increase if he continues to break salary records in old age.
Wife, Fiance, Girlfriend
It is well known that many sports stars in the world jump from one genetically blessed woman to another, but Kris Bryant is one of the few who has managed to hold on to a woman for years.
In his very first season in the MLB, Bryant made sure to fend off the ladies after declaring in his very first MLB press conference that he had a girl in his life. This girl would later turn out to be a certain Jessica Delp, and they go back to their high school years.
Both were born in Las Vegas, met while attending Bonanza High School, and started dating at the age of 15. Like himself, Bryant’s wife is a sports enthusiast who played both softball and basketball at Bonanza. They graduated together in 2010, and although choosing the college they wanted to go to meant that they would be separated for a while, it was okay for the couple to enter into a long-distance relationship.
While Bryant attended the University of San Diego, Delp stayed in Las Vegas, where she studied psychology at the University of Las Vegas. After graduating in 2014, she joined Bryant in Chicago.
In December 2015, about eight years after their relationship began, Bryant asked the question in Delpon on January 7, 2017. They got married in Las Vegas.
Since their marriage, Delp, like most WAGs of the Cubs stars, has been actively involved in charitable causes. She was one of the key figures during the Cubs’ 2015 Favorite Things auction. Bryant often uses his Instagram and Twitter accounts to rave about his wife.
Kris Bryant is one of the tallest guys in the MLB. He stands at 6 feet 5 inches tall which is the equivalent of 1.96 m.
