Candice Swanepoel was born on October 20, 1988, in an African family of Dutch descent, the daughter of William and Eileen Swanepoel. Her father is originally from Mutare, Zimbabwe, while her mother is South African and her hometown is Mooi River, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. She grew up with her older brother Stephen on a cattle and dairy farm. She attended St. Anne’s Diocesan College, Hilton, a girl’s boarding school.
