Born on April 14, 1996, in New York City as Abigail Kathleen Breslin, she is the last of three children of Michael Breslin (father) and Kim Breslin (mother). She was named after Abigail Adams, the second “First Lady” of the United States, and now has two nicknames: Abbie, Miss Sunshine.
Since Abbie was interested in acting and singing at a very young age, she did not have the opportunity to attend school earlier; rather, she was taught at home and received every support from her parents and older siblings, who are both actors – Ryan and Spencer Breslin.
