Zoie Palmer is best known for her role as Dr. Lauren Lewis in the supernatural drama “Lost Girl”. The English-Canadian actress started to play the lead role in 2010 and lasted until the end of the show in 2015 after 5 successful seasons.

Zoie Palmer was born on 28 October 1977 in Cornwall, England, as a child of Irish and British descent. At the age of 10, she emigrated to Canada, where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Newmarket, Ontario. In 2001, Palmer received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University in Toronto, Canada.
While Palmer officially began her career in show business in 2002, one year after graduating from college, her first professional acting experience is documented as a teenager. It was at a summer camp at the Red Barn Theatre in Jackson’s Point, Ontario, Canada.
Like most famous actors today, Palmer began her career with small roles in television movies and shows. Her first feature films were Odyssey 5, The Screaming Team, Adventure Inc., and From the Ashes. In 2003, she appeared in the critically acclaimed television movie The Reagans.

Palmer is known for her television film roles, but she has also made a handful of feature films, including Godsend (2004), Devil (2010), Cold Blooded (2012), and Sex After Kids (2013).

Zoie Palmer has won a number of awards for her contributions to the film industry, particularly for her lesbian role as Dr. Lauren in Lost Girl.
AfterEllen.com, a website dedicated to the portrayal of lesbian and bisexual women in the media, named her character in Lost Girl the “Best Lesbian/Bi Figure of 2013”. She also won the AfterEllen visibility award as “Favourite TV Actress” 2013.
In addition, E! News named her and Bo (Anna Silk)”, her character in Lost Girl, the “Best TV Couple of the Year 2013”. CNN included her in its “TV Favorite Couples”.

It’s not clear when Zoie’s and Alex Lolonde became a thing, but they were discovered together in 2011. Alex Lolonde is a renowned Canadian film producer who has made a name for himself on both the small and the big screen with a career spanning more than two decades.
Some of her works include Sprnva. Lalonde is the COO of digital entertainment company Kickass 360 and has produced a number of TV commercials.
