Mowry was born on a military base. He was born on July 5, 1993, at Fort Irwin, California. For his high school education, he attended Westlake High School, where he was known for his exemplary academic achievements. Here he began his journey into the world of athletics. He played for the school’s football team and was one of the best players during his time there. He collected an impressive record, running 3,278 yards and scoring 43 touchdowns. His contributions earned him two All-Marmonte League honors and an All-Ventura County award in his senior year.
His efforts in the field and in academia paved the way for him to be accepted into the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) with a full scholarship in 2011. While studying sociology, he was also on the school’s soccer team. For his first year at UC Davis, Tavior was dressed in a red dress. In 2012 he was finally to get a small chance and play a total of four games, scoring 15 rushing yards with 17 carriers and 87 all-purpose yards at the end of the campaign. He could not really show his talent, as he was slowed down most of the season by injuries.
The next season was relatively better. Mowry played nine games against opponents like Idaho State, Northern Arizona, and Sacramento State. The season was considered a success as he finished it with the second-best carry (53) for his team over the third-best 184 yards. He also scored at least 37 rushing yards in each of his first three games of the season.

Tavior Mowry seemed to hit all the right notes in his career. Unfortunately, his burgeoning football dreams were shattered by an injury that ended his career. It was the most dangerous curve ball life had thrown at him so far. Since he could no longer play, he finished his studies and took a job as a wine seller. At this time he began to work on his skills as a music producer. Tavior recognized the value of versatility and decided to enroll in a sound engineering school called Recording Connection. He was apprenticed to famous producer Zach Phillips – who had worked with names like The Kooks, Jessie Ware, and Talib Kweli – at Hyde Street Studios and Freq Lab. Mowry was born the son of Darlene Renée Mowry and his father, Timothy John Mowry. Before Tavior was born, his mother had two jobs: she worked as a security guard and was also the manager of the careers of Tavior’s three older siblings. His father, Timothy, is an American Amry veteran who later moved into the prison business as a prison guard/custodian with the Glendale, California police department. Both his parents met in high school, joined the army together and both achieved the rank of sergeant.
