Mitchell Trubisky is an NFL quarterback who plays for the Chicago Bears. Before he was drafted by the Bears in 2017, he played for the University of North Carolina football team, where he was considered a first-round contender by the majority of scouts and analysts. In filling the offensive position and starting the game several times, Mitchell always gave his best, which made his team and his fans proud of him.
Mitchell Trubisky Bio
Mitchell was born on 20 August 1994 in Mentor, Ohio, USA, and began his football career while still in high school. He played for the Cardinals soccer team at Mentor High School, during which he received the 2012 Ohio Mr. Football Award for Best High School Soccer Player in the State of Ohio.
He transferred to the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he played as a backup for starter Marquise Williams in 2014 after playing in a red light mode in his first year, but he was soon to take over as quarterback in his first year in 2016 after playing 3,748 passes with 30 touchdowns and six interceptions at the end of the season. After a successful youth season, he was appointed to the third team of the All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference).
NFL Career
Mitchell decided to give up his final year of college eligibility and instead declare for the 2017 NFL draft. He was selected by the majority of scouts and analysts in the first round and was ranked in the top four quarterbacks by the media, but was placed second overall by the Chicago Bears. His nickname “Mr. Biscuit” is derived from his name, Mitchell Trubisky.

Mitchell had an impressive pre-season record as the third highest passer-by rating of the 29 quarterbacks with at least 50 passes but was named to replace Mike Glennon for the regular season. Shortly afterward, he replaced Glennon in week 5 on his way to playmaker successes in the “ball pit”.
Before the season finale, in a game against the Cleveland Browns, he threw 193 yards in a 20-3 win that raised his season pass yard to 2,015, most of it from a rookie in Bears history. He ended his rookie season with the most yards that a Bears quarterback has run since 2003, 2,248 yards.
Family
He was born of sports enthusiasts, Dave and Jeanne Trubisky. Mitchell, affectionately known as Mitch by fans, family, and friends, is the first of four children who play a variety of sports. His three brothers, including Manning and Mason, play football and basketball for Mentor High School, and his sister Mariah played basketball for Mentor High School before going on to the University of Ohio.
Sports has always had a way of integrating the Trubisky family. His parents met as flag football teammates in college at the University of Akron. While Dave, an outstanding high school quarterback, was also a three-star athlete, Jeanne competed in four competitions in high school. The people’s history with athletics makes it a little difficult to decide who the kids got their athletics from. Although his mother takes credit, Mitch gives it to his father, who he says taught him everything he knows about the game he plays, but not without mentioning that the game comes naturally to him through the good genes of both parents.
