Jonah Ray is an American comic actor and writer, best known as the current host of the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 podcast, and one of the stars of the Comedy Central podcast, The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, and The Nerdist podcast.

He was born August 3, 1982, as Jonah Ray Rodrigues; Ray is from Honolulu, Hawaii, but grew up in the city of Kailua, which is on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. As a child, the talented comedian had a dream to become a showman when he grew up, and today he lives his dream and does what he does best. He completed his basic training in Hawaii before moving to Los Angeles, where he finally launched his comedy career.
