After graduation, Jackie concentrated on her professional career. She started in 2007 with a job as a producer at WWLP-TV. She had to emigrate to Massachusetts, where NBC-affiliated television stations were based. It wasn’t long before her talent and contribution were recognized and rewarded. Just four months after working for the station, she was promoted to reporter and presenter. It seemed as if her career could only go upward from then on, but first, there was an unexpected turn in her story. For some reason, she was disappointed in her love of journalism. In 2010 she left WWLP-TV.
She then moved to a New York PR firm, Coltrin & Associates, as Managing Director. This happened in October 2012, where she managed several tech accounts for the company and also worked with the senior management team in developing client strategy.
