What Happened To Her?

There are several explanations for why the former child actress left the limelight. Some say her disappearance should help her shake off the childhood stereotypes that often plague young actors who started their careers as children.

However, this turned out to be pure speculation, as her disappearance from the screen was only a decision she had made to make a career in the legal profession possible.

According to her fellow actor in Step-by-Step, Patrick Duffy, he once wrote a recommendation for her admission to law school. Although we are not sure what kind of law she studied or practiced, we are sure that Staci actually went to law school to get a law degree and that she now works as a lawyer in Los Angeles under the name Anastasia Sagorsky,

Staci Keanan hasn’t given up her love for acting and the screen completely as she still accepts some gigs from time to time. She appeared in the short film Stolen Poem in 2004, then in the films Hidden Secrets, Holyman Undercover, and Death and Cremation in 2006 and 2010.

Also in 2010, she starred in a cameo in You Again together with some of her Step By Step colleagues. She also played the lead in the film Sarah’s Choice.

It is also worth mentioning that while she was out of the spotlight, Staci married actor and film producer Guy Birtwhistle, so you wouldn’t be wrong to add Birtwhistle to her last name.

The couple tied the knot on February 11, 2017, and what we are not sure about is whether they still have a child(ren) of their own.
