Sofia Carson was born on 10 April 1993 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, as Sofía Daccarett Char. Her father is José F. Daccarett and her mother is Laura Char Carson. On her mother’s side, Sofia Carson comes from the Char family, which is known for political power in Colombia. She decided to retire using her father’s name “Daccarett” and to use her grandmother’s surname “Carson” for reasons best known to her. Members of her family are actually migrants to the United States. She is of white descent and has American citizenship.
Sofia began her high school education at St. Hugh’s School before moving to Miami and finishing her high school year at the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. Another single, I’m Gonna Love You, followed four months later and then the audio version of Back to Beautiful with Alan Walker in January 2017, the official video was released the following month on YouTube and was viewed 19 million times in the first 7 months.
Sofia was back in front of the camera for the sequel to the Disney film “Descendants”. She still played her original role as Evie, the daughter of the evil queen. For the future, it is planned that she will be part of the cast of the television series.
