Shaquille O’Neal and his ex-wife Shaunie got married in December 2002 in a hotel in Beverly Hills, and like most celebrity marriages, it ended in divorce seven years later, but not before bringing a series of juicy scandals to the public and the tabloids. In retrospect, it should have been obvious that this relationship would end in disaster, because Shaunie first met Shaquille when she was still married to her first husband, and she began a secret relationship with him until she left her husband and married Shaq.
This body in her closet was brought to light when the media decided to dig a little into her past. During their marriage to Shaquille O’Neal, they had two sons Shareef and Shakir, and two daughters Amira and Me’arah.
Shaquille O’Neal’s Wife
The divorce between Shaquille O’Neal and his wife Shaunie became chaotic because there had been intense tabloid rumors about Shaq’s infidelity for years, and after several warnings Shaunie finally had enough and gave up their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, by filing for divorce. Shaquille publicly admitted his infidelity later in 2011, using the excuse that he was “a man with too many options”.

As with many celebrity divorces, the drama did not end with them going separate ways because Shaquille blocked Shaunie’s attempts to start her own reality TV show by demanding that she pay him $1 million because she is primarily famous only because she is his wife. Shaunie refused to pay the money and said he was spiteful and did not want the children to be included in her new show, so the fight between them continues with no end in sight.

As you might expect, Shaquille O’Neal’s children are all quite big, starting with his eldest daughter, who he had with his ex-girlfriend Arnetta Yarbourgh – 19-year-old Taahira O’Neal has a cute must-see video of herself on YouTube singing Rihanna’s Umbrella song, and the video has nearly 30,000 hits. The other daughters of Shaquille are called Amira and Me’arah and are 14 and 9 years old respectively.
As you might expect, Shaquille’s sons have been of interest to many who wonder if they inherited their father’s skills on the court, and as luck would have it, one of Shaquille O’Neal’s sons has some crazy skills on the court as his playing style is very different from his father’s. Shareef O’Neal is seven feet tall at the age of sixteen and is still growing. He has already received offers from UCLA and other prestigious schools hoping to recruit him for their basketball teams. Shaquille has made it clear to his son that he doesn’t need to play basketball as a career, and has even taken away his new Lamborghini until he improves his grades in school. Shaquille’s other son is named Shaqir, and he is only 12 years old.

Given the number of women Shaquille O’Neal allegedly dated, it can be a little difficult to distinguish between mistresses and actual girlfriends, but recently one woman has attracted media attention as she may have been given the official title of Shaquille O’Neal’s girlfriend and her name is Laticia Rolle. Little is known about this ebony beauty, except that she is a graduate of Eckerd College, and rumor has it that Shaquille met her while working as a hostess in a bar in Florida.
The couple made headlines when paparazzi got a photo of Shaq snogging his new hot girlfriend while she was in Paris, whereupon he took her to a tennis match (pictured above) where they were both very elegantly dressed, showing that even Shaquille O’Neal knows how to make a suit work when you need it.

Shaquille O’Neal also dated Nikki Alexander from 2010 to 2013, during which time he also cheated on her. Nikki later explained in an interview that it broke her heart when she ended it with him because he painted a fairytale life picture for her future, just so she would find out that she wasn’t really in the picture.
However, Nikki has come to terms with this and explains that she believes that everything happens for a reason and that she is right because she only got her own reality show because she used to be Shaquille O’Neal’s girlfriend. Her latest reality show “It Takes A Sister” is broadcasted on Oxygen. She is also the executive producer of the show. She once said on the show that her betrayal by Shaq had not made her lose faith in finding love.
