Salma Hayek Pinault was born on September 2, 1966, in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. Her birth name is Salma Hayek Jimenez. Her family was well dressed as her mother, Diana Jimenez Medina is both an opera singer and talent scout. Salma’s father is a senior executive of an upper-middle-class oil company and owns an industrial equipment company.
She attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana, USA when she was twelve years old, as her family was quite wealthy and belonged to the Roman Catholic faith.
