When you talk about women who have made a name for themselves in the world of sportscasting, Nicole Briscoe has to appear somewhere. Born July 2, 1980, Briscoe was born in Roscoe, Illinois. She graduated from Hononegah High School in 1998. While at Hononegah High School, she and future race car driver Danica Patrick were cheerleaders.
The same year she graduated high school, Briscoe won the Miss Illinois Teen USA and competed in the Miss Teen USA Pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana in August 1998. Although she did not win the crown, the blonde bombshell made it to the finals as a semi-finalist, finished third in the evening gown competition, seventh in the swimsuit, and tenth in the interview. Her outstanding performance brought her an average of eighth place in the overall standings.
Nicole Briscoe’s TV Career
Her passion for the crown continued to burn, and two years after the title was awarded, she participated in the Miss Illinois USA 2001 and finished first runner-up.

It is remarkable that Nicole Briscoe is not one of those beauties without brains. Perhaps influenced by her experience in the world of pageantry, Briscoe pursued a career in TV presentation after attending Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. She got her first job during her studies for WREX-TV, the NBC station in Rockford.
She then worked as a reporter for WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana, before expanding her talent to WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana, in April 2004. This paved the way for Briscoe to explore her horizons in the industry. At that time, she covered the Indianapolis 500, the United States Grand Prix, the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, and the NBA’s Indiana Pacers. She also worked as a pit reporter for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network.
She was having the time of her career, but the need to explore more of her horizons came, and in the May 15, 2006 issue of The Indianapolis Star, Nicole announced that she would leave WISH-TV for the Speed Channel in Charlotte, North Carolina. Apparently, the Indianapolis 500 was her last day on May 28, 2006.
After she left WISH-TV, Briscoe became co-host of The Speed Report, formerly known as Speed News, a Sunday motorsports show on the Speed Channel. She replaced former presenter Connie LeGrand and hosted the show for almost two years. From July 1, 2006, to January 27, 2008, Briscoe worked her magic before leaving the show to become the new host of the daily news show NASCAR Now on ESPN2.
The American sportscaster is currently employed by ESPN. While her career at the station is focused on auto racing coverage, where she has hosted NASCAR Countdown and NASCAR Now, the sportscaster became the host of SportsCenter in 2015. In addition to anchoring SportsCenter, Briscoe has also contributed to X Games coverage as a presenter and reporter.

The American sports reporter Nicole Briscoe is married to the IndyCar Series driver Ryan Briscoe. Together with the Australian professional racing driver, she made the covenant for life at an outdoor ceremony in Hawaii in 2009.
