Nathan Kane Samara: 6 Things You Need To Know

Nathan Kane Samara: 6 Things You Need To Know

Nathan Kane Samara is better known to the world than the younger brother of Eminem. If your brother is one of the greats of hip-hop, it’s almost impossible the world won’t be interested in you, especially if you’re also interested in rap. He may live in the shadow of his superstar brother, but that doesn’t mean that Nathan doesn’t know some things worth knowing about him. We have tried to summarize the things you need to know about him in these 6 facts.

6 Things You Need To Know About Nathan Kane Samara

Nathan Kane Samara: 6 Things You Need To Know

1. He had it Rough as a Child.

If you are a fan of Eminem, then you are well aware of all the difficulties he went through in his youth. He boldly blamed many of these difficulties on his mother, Deborah Mathers, whom he named in a few of his songs, most notably in “My Mom,” where he also mentioned Nathan.

Apparently, fourteen years wasn’t enough time for Eminem’s mother to turn over a new leaf, as his brother Nathan, born February 3, 1986 (about 14 years after Eminem was born), went through the same difficulties that Eminem went through as a child.

The authorities at Roseville Elementary School, where Nathan was educated, said Debbie neglected and abused Nathan. As a result, he was placed in foster care. Eminem was later to take responsibility for his upbringing. Nathan is technically Eminem’s half-brother, as his mother had placed him with another man named Fred J. Samara.

Nathan and Eminem have both forgiven their mother, Eminem’s lyrics to his song Headlights 2013 say it all. Part of the lyrics reads, “But I forgive you and Nathan too.”

2. He Raps, Writes Songs, and Produces.

Growing up with his superstar brother, Nathan watched every step of Eminem and soon began to emulate him. At the age of 13, Nathan appeared as a young Eminem in the music video for his song “Without Me (2009)”.

The following year, in 2000, Eminem took him on his “Up In Smoke” tour. Due to his busy schedule, Eminem asked Nathan to represent him at the 2001 Detroit Music Awards, where he received an award for him and also gave the acceptance speech. While receiving his VMA in 2003, Eminem called on Nathan.

Given the wealth of music Eminem Nathan had offered, it was no great surprise when he began his own rap career. He began rapping under the nickname, Nate Kane. However, Nate was nowhere near as successful as his brother.

None of his songs ever made it into the mainstream. Among the most famous ones are “Shadow of a celebrity” and “Slide on over both”, which were released around 2010. It’s not clear whether the first song referred to his older brother. Although he still has a rapper in his Instagram bio, no new material has been heard from Nate for a long time.

3. Nathan is also an Actor and Personal Trainer.

Rap didn’t quite work out for him, but it seems that Nathan doesn’t give up so easily to make a name for himself. He has tried his hand at acting and made his debut in Devil’s Night Dawn Of The Nain Rouge!, a horror film directed and scripted by Emmy nominated producer Sam Logan Khaleghi. In April 2018, Nathan contacted his IG to promote the film and urge fans to expect the film to be released in theaters. Watch the trailer below.

Besides acting, Nathan, himself a bit of a hunk, is also a personal trainer. In his IG-food, you can see photos of him himself, how he feeds on healthy meals and promotes body supplements.

4. Nathan Kane Samara is Engaged and is a Father.

Kane has found love in the eyes of a certain Ashley Mae with the IG handle ash.mae. A visit to his acquaintance shows how enraptured he is with her while constantly posting sweet words about his Bae. They are engaged and want to marry. Nate asked the question in December 2016 and the couple already has three children together.

Nathan and Ashley have had a romantic relationship for many years, dating back to 2001. He is, in fact, a loyal man.

5. He Officially Changed his Surname from Samara to Mathers in 2018.

Although it seems that his father was hardly ever around during his childhood, Nathan continued to use his last name. However, in early 2018, he seemed to have grown weary of the name when he officially changed from Samara to Mathers, which is also Eminem’s family name. The Blast reported that a judge at the Michigan court where Nate applied for the name change had granted his request.

6. He Has Been Arrested at Least Once.

In 2009, Nate had run into trouble with the law after he was arrested for drunk driving. Nate refused to let an ambulance pass and was stopped. He was taken into custody but was released on personal bail. Those years are over, however, as Nathan could not appear more responsible.
