Michael Vick is undeniably one of the NFL’s most successful quarterbacks of all time and will be forever remembered for his robust career with the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The retired footballer started his football career in 2000 when he was drafted into the NFL as number 1. His first footballing assignment was with the Atlanta Falcons, and he later represented the team for seven seasons. After that, he had a run-in with the law and was incarcerated in federal prison for 21 months for running an unauthorized dog-fighting ring.
After serving his sentence, the Atlanta Falcons released Michael, and he was later signed by the Philadelphia Eagles. The new start after 21 months of absence from the field was not really easy for Vick, but he managed to get back into shape. His time with the Eagles lasted only five years, after which he represented the New York Jet and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.

The retired quarterback’s full name is Michael Dwayne Vick. He is the son of Michael Boddie (father) and Brenda Vick (mother), who released him into the world on June 26, 1980, in Virginia, in Newport News to be exact.
Vick had a humble beginning as he was born into a poor family. To make ends meet, his mother worked in two companies, while his father worked in a shipyard as a sprayer and sandblaster.
When Vick was born, his parents were not yet married. The couple eventually married when the former football player was five years old. However, the children decided to continue to bear the mother’s family name.

Vick has three siblings, all of whom grew up in the East End section of the port city. He has two sisters, Courtney Vick and Christina Vick. Michael Vick’s brother is none other than Marcus Vick – a retired soccer player who briefly represented the Miami Dolphins in the league in 2006, as a quarterback, return specialist, and wide receiver.
Marcus Vick was born on March 20, 1984, and is the younger brother of Michael Vick. He received his high school education at Warwick High School. Like his older brother, he has been in conflict with the law and has been arrested several times for crimes such as possession of hard drugs, driving under the influence of drugs, driving without a license, and expired registration.
Michael Vick has been married since 2012 when he entered into a marriage with his lover/baller Wives star, Kijafa Frink. The couple reportedly met in 2002 and eventually took the big step of love by getting married in 2012.
Frink has been a supportive partner to the former Philadelphia star since the time Vick came into conflict with the law. At that time Kijafa was his girlfriend and is said to have helped him get through a whole range of things in life.

After officially retiring from football on 3 February 2017, Michael Vick later joined the Kansas City Chiefs as a trainee coach and was hired as the offensive coordinator for the new Alliance of American Football franchise in Atlanta on 25 April 2018.
