Nana-Kofi Siriboe was born on 2 March 1994 in Los Angeles, California. As a child, he developed a passion for entertainment and became a child actor. And like most child actors, Kofi began his career with commercials that appeared in both television and print ads. At the age of 9, Kofi made his screen debut in a short film called Strange & Charmed. Soon he added modeling to his aspirations, and it wasn’t long before he was signed to Wilhelmina Models in New York and then to Vision Los Angeles.
Kofi had his first break in 2008, in the comedic-dramatic sports film The Longshots, starring Ice Cube. He had only auditioned once for the role, which was enough to more than impress the director of the film, Fred Durst. Kofi would then appear in a teen romantic comedy-drama Prom (2011) and would have guest appearances in Lincoln Heights and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Kofi was born by the Ghanaian immigrants Kwame Boakye and Koshie Mills. Kofi, who doesn’t hide his love and respect for black women around the world, as we learned from his interview, is known for always appreciating his mother’s efforts to ensure that he grows up as a much-loved child. He told ELLE that his mother did not have “the most loving parents in the world”.
Kofi’s mother Koshie Mills, born in Ghana, grew up in London. At the age of 16, she moved to the United States to study nursing. In her last year of college, she met and married her Ghanaian immigrant colleague Kwame Boakye. Kofi’s mother became a registered nurse at the age of 21 and began to practice.
Today Kofi’s mother is a media mogul and runs her own talk show called “The Diaspora Dialogues”. Kofi also lets his mother act as a manager. While quite a lot is known about Kofi’s mother, the same cannot be said about his father, who leads a very private life.
Kofi Siriboe is the middle child of his family and has two brothers who are both Hollywood actors. The oldest Kwame Boateng was born on 5 January 1992. He received his first acting role in 2006 in an episode of Wir Alle Spielen Einen Jungen Dirk. His other credits include The Onion Movie (2008) and The Office. The youngest brother Kwesi Boakye was born on 6 April 1999.
Like Kofi, Kwesi also began with commercials. Before he was 4 years old, he had appeared in over 30 national commercials. Siriboe may not be married yet, but he has a girlfriend. The lucky lady is the ebony supermodel Duckie Thot, who comes from Sudan. Kofi had been hinting at a romantic relationship with her from September 2017 when he accessed his Twitter account to post a photo collage of Thot, which he interestingly titled “she literally looks edible”. His message to her for International Women’s Day in March 2018, which began with the words: “My dear, you blossom like flowers; you continue to grow. I love watching you…” was more than a confirmation that the two are a couple.
