Before her marriage, Jenkins played a key role in restoring Sorbo’s health after the then newly engaged actor suffered four strokes as a result of an aneurysm in his shoulder. The incident occurred during a promotional tour for his first film Kull the Conqueror and between the 4th and 5th seasons of Hercules in late 1997.
