Background Early Career of John Travolta

John Joseph Travolta is the youngest of six children born to Salvatore Travolta (father) from his wife Helen Cecilia (mother) in Englewood, New Jersey, a suburb of Bergen County, New Jersey. His father was a semi-professional American soccer player, later a salesman and investment partner in a tire manufacturer, while his mother was a well-known actress and singer and later an acting and English teacher in a high school.

Travolta was taught at Dwight Morrow High School before he dropped out of the lower school in 1971. Since he had no interest in school, he moved to Hudson River, New York, and secured a role in a touring and musical troupe.

Travolta made many great movies and films from then until today. Although he went through a prolonged period of decline at the beginning of his career, he was resilient enough to reappear and play every role he took on even better. He plays amazingly effortlessly as if he were this character in real life and simply his normal self.

Family – Daughter, Son, Wife

The famous actor John Travolta is married to his actress colleague Kelly Preston. The two lovers were married on 5 September 1991 at the Hotel de Crillon (on the Place de la Concorde). They lived together in a house they had bought in Islesboro, Maine. Their marriage produced three children: a son named Jett and his younger siblings Ella Bleu (born in 2000) and the youngest, another son named Benjamin, born in Florida in 2010.

Before Kelly Preston married John Travolta, she was married to her actor colleague Kevin Cage from 1985 until her divorce in 1987. Then came George Clooney, with whom she had a relationship, but the paths soon parted when Charlie Sheen became her next lover and went all the way to hire her in 1990. Their relationship ended when he accidentally shot her in the arm.

The marriage of Travolta and Preston did not run smoothly, as they often had bitter feelings for each other. They patched such times together by going to marriage counseling regularly.

According to some reports, they will divorce soon, as they repeatedly find that they cannot live with each other for the rest of their lives. Other reports already claim that their marriage, which is over two decades old, has already failed. The latter follows on from Travolta’s gay allegations, which we will soon be looking into.

In 2009, Travolta and Preston lost their son Jett, aged 16, to the cold hands of death during a Christmas holiday in the Bahamas. The cause of death was reportedly the result of a seizure he had. Previously, he had suffered from a condition known as Kawasaki’s disease at the age of two.
