Actor and filmmaker Jason Priestley are one of the many beneficiaries of the long-standing entertainment cooperation between Canada and the United States of America. As for his education, Jason Priestley is known to have received his high school education at Argyle Secondary School, North Vancouver. He then started his career by appearing in commercials for companies such as Fletcher’s Meats.
How he became a movie star and director.
After appearing in a series of commercials, Jason Priestley was cast in the 1978 TV movie Stacey, in which he played the character of Duncan. He then appeared in an episode of the TV show Airwolf in which he played the character of Bobby Conrad. He then landed a guest role in the series 21 Jump Street before he got his groundbreaking role as Brandon Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1990.
For ten years, from 1990 to 2000, Priestley was at the center of the action thanks to his role in Beverly Hills, 90210. During his time on the show, he was able to launch his career as a director, as he was behind the camera for 15 episodes of the long-running series. Since then he has continued to direct other projects.
However, during his appearance in Beverly Hills, 90210, the actor also took on roles on other TV shows and movies such as Drexell’s Class, Calendar Girl, Love and Death on Long Island, The Outer Limits, and Eye of the Beholder, among others.

On the film front he appeared in Cherish (2001), Time of the Wolf (2002), Going the Distance (2004), Made in Brooklyn (2006) and The Last Rites of Ransom Pride (2009).

Race Car Career and Car Accident
Jason Priestley is not only known for his acting and directing, but also for his racing car career. He began to intensively pursue this hobby in 1991 and over the years has participated in competitions such as the IMSA GTS, USRRC GT1, Motorola Cup Competition, and the Gumball 3000 Rally. In 2002, however, the actor was involved in a bad car accident which, although he survived, ended his attention for racing.
Priestley crashed head-on into a wall at nearly 180 miles per hour during the last practice session at the Kentucky Speedway. After the accident, he was taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center where he was found to have a fractured spine in the middle of his back, broken bones in both feet and a closed head injury.
After a few years of absence from the sport, Priestley returned to become co-owner of the FAZZT Race Team that competed in the 2010 IndyCar Series.

It is remarkable that Priestly’s marriage to Naomi is his second. First, he entered into marriage with Ashlee Peterson, with whom he was together for a year. They tied the knot in February 1999 and after staying married for eleven months, the couple broke up in January 2000.
In 2009 the director and his current wife welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ava Veronica. Two years later, the couple expanded their family with the arrival of a son, Dashiell Orson. Priestley and his family often attend events together, such as those seen in March 2015 at the Los Angeles premiere of Disney’s Cinderella at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood California.
