Dylan Dreyer is quite good at her job, as she travels all over the country to report about one or two natural disasters. Irma and Harvey were especially stressful for her. She even got scared when she was reporting on Hurricane Irma Category 5, and it took a sweet text message from her supportive husband to keep her alive.
Dylan was born on August 2, 1981, in Manalapan, New Jersey, and attended Rutgers University, which she graduated from in 2003 with a degree in Meteorology. She immediately began her professional career, working at WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania; WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island; and WHDH in Boston, Massachusetts.
She made her breakthrough into the mainstream when she joined NBC News in 2012.

After years of working for the huge NBC network, Dylan was able to accumulate a net worth estimated at $1 million. Her salary, although never publicly disclosed, is estimated at $300,000.

Her hard work has earned her the privilege of living in some amazing homes. Dylan previously lived in a palatial house in Boston that included a garage, attic, and other storage facilities. However, after her marriage in 2012, she had to downsize to a 750-square-meter one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan, New York. The couple bought the house in 2012 for $580,000.
“I never in a million years thought I could go down to 750 square feet,” she said at home with today’s cameras from her Manhattan home. “Not to mention sharing it with someone else.”
She revealed that her favorite place in the house was the kitchen and called it the heart of the house.
“I love that the kitchen is open to the rest of the living room. “I love cooking, and this way I don’t feel separated from everything else that happens in the kitchen,” she said about the floor plan.
Dylan kissed the small house goodbye in late 2016 when they moved into a new apartment. In December 2015, the couple listed the Co-op for $862,000.
Dylan Dreyer Husband – Brian Fichera
Dylan married NBC News cameraman Brian Fichera in 2012. He’s from Easton, Massachusetts. They first met when they were associates at WHDH in Boston. Atypically for Dylan, she set up a wedding blog and told the story of their encounter.
According to the blog, Dylan first thought that Fichera’s name was Tom. He had joined the NBC-affiliated network a year after Dylan, and both worked the early shift.
She wrote in her wedding blog;
“When he started working more, he hung out more at the weather center with our friend Todd. The three of us started hanging out more and more outside of work, building our friendship, and getting closer. After a few years, we had a little party at Brian’s house called Jammy Jam. That’s when I realized that I was totally in love with him, and from then on it was history!
Fichera proposed to Dylan in July 2011 on the porch of his parent’s house in Easton. But it was no big surprise to Dylan, who told the Boston Globe that she knew. “When I saw there were roses and two glasses of champagne, I knew,” she said.
On October 6, 2012, the couple got married in Boston’s Holy Cross Cathedral.
Dylan Dreyer Baby – Calvin Bradley Fichera
After four years of marriage, the couple was ready to welcome their first edition to the world. Dylan announced on the Today show on June 10, 2016, that she was pregnant with her first child.

“Then one day we both looked at each other and said, ‘I want a baby! As always, we were on the same page and it just seemed like everything was right.

Today Show reported that Dylan had a baby shower at Manhattan’s Hunt & Fish Club on November 22nd. Guests at the event included Tamron Hall, Kathie Lee Gifford, Savannah Guthrie, Stephanie Ruhle, Jenna Bush Hager, and Hoda Kotb.
Dylan gave birth to a baby boy at 11:52 am EST on December 17, 2016. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. The couple named him Calvin Bradley Fichera.
Since she became a mother, Dylan has accompanied her fans through her experiences as a new parent. Like when she struggled with breastfeeding, she shared it with her fans. She realized that she had malnourished her baby after it appeared malnourished.
“For the first three months, Calvin looked thin and slender – he looked like a nice, fit little baby,” Dreyer said. “We go to the doctor and the doctor says, ‘They really aren’t giving him enough food. I was exclusively breastfeeding. And he said, “[Calvin] gets about half of what he should get on a typical day. ”
She added… “And it broke my heart. I cried when he said, ‘You must supplement with the formula’ because I felt I had failed him and my body could not do what Calvin wanted me to do.
The doctor found that her breast had a “little Tupperware box” which contributed to her difficulty in breastfeeding the baby.
However, the family got beyond this stage when Dylan supplemented breastfeeding with formula.
