Dr. Dre was born on February 18, 1965, in Compton, California, United States of America. His birth name is Andre Romelle Young. His parents are Theodore and Verna Young. His father, Theodore, sang in an amateur music group called ‘Rolls’ and impregnated his mother, Verna, when she was still in high school, although they are eventually married.
His parents divorced after 8 years of marriage; this probably influenced his attitude towards marriage.
