Remember Tess Mercer in The CW’s superhero drama Smallville? What about Cady Longmire in Longmire? Well, she’s Cassidy Freeman, an actress from Illinois Chicago.
Don’t you remember? How about the lady who starred in the crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Season 10: Episode 4, entitled Coup de Grace? She played policewoman Donna Grayson, who witnessed her partner arrest, shoot and kill a suspect who turned out to be an off-duty colleague.

Freeman was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 22, 1982. Her parents are Chicago attorneys Glynna and Lee Freeman, who also own a cattle farm in Montana.
The 35-year-old, who is of Indian, German, Scottish, Jewish, and Estonian descent, also speaks very fluent Spanish.
She attended the Chicago Latin School. After attending Northwestern University, Illinois, she pursued a career on the stage and performed in several plays in Chicago and New York.
