The New York-born wrestler was added to the WWE list in 2011. Read on to learn more about him.

In June 2011, William signed for the WWE development area Florida Championship Wrestling under the ring name Colin Cassady. His time at FCW was a time to forget, as he had a long losing streak and only scored a handful of wins towards the end of his first year.

After renaming his promotion to NXT, Cassady teamed up with his longtime friend Enzo Amore and branded himself as “the most genuine guys in the room”. They had well-documented feuds with the likes of Mason Ryan, Alexander Rusev, Scott Dawson, and Sylvester Lefort. Enzo and Cassady continued to fight for the NXT tag team championship but were unsuccessful on many occasions against other tag teams.

Career Attainments and Injury

In 2016 Amore and Cassady finally made their debut as main wrestlers with Raw. They defeated The Ascension (Conor O’Brian and Rick Victor) on their way to becoming the top contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship. However, the victory against the Vaudevillians failed after Enzo suffered a legitimate concussion.

That same month, the Queen’s wrestler changed his name to Big Cass in the ring, while he and his tag-team partner continued to fight for the tag-team championship against the likes of The New Day, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. They also had a brief alliance with John Cena before they were officially drafted into the Raw brand at the 2016 WWE draft. Here he scored a big win, albeit a non-title fight against then US champion Rusev, which led to a feud between the fighter, Big Cass, and Enzo.

To continue his solo career, a story was revealed that Big Cass was the mastermind behind an attack that Enzo had previously suffered in their partnership. Cass admitted this and attacked Enzo, ending their partnership.

After several confrontations with his former partner and a feud with the Big Show, Big Cass suffered a legitimate anterior cruciate ligament rupture, which excluded him from the competition for eight months.

Cass returned and looked fit and tanned again. He was drafted by SmackDown for the 2018 Superstar Shake-up. Here he teamed up with Shinsuke Nakamura against the likes of Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles. Unfortunately, he was released from his WWE contract after a defeat to Bryan on June 19, 2018.

The wrestler’s dating profile, as far as everyone knows, has only one name – Carmella. Big Cass and Carmella started dating in 2014 during his time at NXT. She had made her wrestling debut by forming a storyline alliance with Big Cass and Enzo Amore.

The couple has also had a tough time. They only split up after Cass and Enzo made it to the main WWE list and Carmella was left behind on NXT. However, after she was drafted into SmackDown, the couple worked around their hectic schedule and found a way to make it work.

But then, in January 2018, Carmella deleted all references to Big Cass on her Instagram and even stopped pursuing him by sparking rumors that they were going to end their romance. She finally confirmed this in an episode of the reality series Total Divas.
