Antonella Roccuzzo was born as a daughter of Jose and Patricia Roccuzzo on 26 February 1988 in Rosario, the third-largest city in Argentina. Her father, Jose, was a businessman, while her mother, Patricia, was a housewife. Besides Antonella, Jose and Patricia had two other daughters, Carla and Paula, who all grew up together in their hometown.
Antonella, who was described as a very shy child, is said to have attended a local high school in Rosario before going to university to study odontology. Later, however, she switched to social communication.

Antonella Roccuzzo has known Lionel Messi since childhood; she was 5 years old to be precise. They met through her cousin, who was a childhood friend of Messi. Messi is said to have always visited her cousin, who was identified as Lucas Scaglia, only to see his future bride.
The couple announced their relationship in 2008, although it was said that the couple had been a couple long before that. But what cemented their love was when Messi flew back to Argentina in 2007 to condole with Roccuzzo, who had lost a close friend of hers in a car accident.

Antonella Roccuzzo devotes a large part of her time to looking after her children. In November 2016, however, she announced through Instagram that she had signed a modeling contract with Argentinean fashion label Ricky Sarkany.
She and one of her closest friends, Sofia Balbi, wife of Luis Suarez, have also opened a Sarkany boutique in Barcelona.
