Robb was born in Denver on December 8, 1993, the son of interior designer Janet and architect David Robb. She is of Danish, English, Irish, Scottish and Swedish descent and was named after her maternal great-grandmother and paternal grandmother, named Anna Sophie and Anna Marie respectively.

AnnaSophia grew up in a Christian home and was taught at home. However, in 2009 the Arapahoe Herald reported that she attended Arapahoe High School Centennial in Colorado, which she eventually graduated from in 2012. That same year, she announced that she was accepted to Stanford University, but admission was postponed due to filming.

Although it is known that Robb is the daughter of Janet and David Robb, it is not known who her siblings are. Therefore, many assume that she is the only child of her parents.

As mentioned in the introduction, Robb was interested in acting and started acting at an early age. Her first performance took place on her church stage, in front of an audience of about 500 people.
