Angelique Boyer Bio/Wiki
Angelique Monique-Paulette Boyer Rousseau was born on 4 July 1988 in Saint-Claude, Jura, France, as the daughter of Sylvie Rousseau and Patrick Boyer. In 1990, when she was just 2 years old, Boyer moved with her family to Mexico, where she grew up with her passion for entertainment. In search of more information about entertainment, Boyer visited the Centro de Educación Artística at the age of 8, where she graduated at the age of 12.
After graduating, Boyer joined the music group “Rabanitos Verdes” (translated: Little Green Radishes). In 2001, when the American boy band N’Sync went on tour in Mexico City, Boyer was the opening act of the heir show at the Estadio Azteca.
At the age of 16, Boyer received her very first acting role in the Mexican telenovela Rebelde, where she played the recurring role of Victoria “Vico” Paz for about a year, which ended in 2005.
Together with her co-stars of Rebelde, Celina (Estefanía Villareal) and José Luján (Zoraida Gómez), Boyer founded the music group C3Q’S.
The experience she gained with Rebelde was enough to take on her other roles, including recurring roles in Objetos perdidos (2007), Muchachitas Como tú (2007), and Alma de Hierro (2008 – 2009). She made her film debut in 2007 with J-ok’el.
Boyer changed into more mature roles in 2009 with the crime series Mujeres Asesinas 2.
Her impressive performance in the crime thriller brought her the first leading role of her career in Teresa (2010 – 2011). Since her first leading role, Boyer has had at least three leading roles, including Abismo de pasión (2012), Lo Que la Vida me robó (2013 – 2014), and Tres veces Ana (2016).
Boyer received four awards for her first leading role in Teresa, including Premios TVyNovelas for Best Actress, Premios Bravo for Best Actress, Premios Juventud for Best Couples (with Aarón Díaz and Sebastián Rulli), and Premios ACE for Best Actress.
In 2017 Boyer received a Premios TVyNovelas Award for Best Actress for her role in Tres veces Ana.
Angelique Boyer’s Married/Husband/Boyfriend
Beautiful and sexy, Boyer has attracted many of her colleagues, some of whom she has dated. Boyer’s first relationship that became public was with Mexican-American singer and actor Diego Boneta, who played Rebedle with her. They were together for four years from 2006 to 2010. In 2010 the rumor went around that she was with Drew Roy, but the rumors were never confirmed.
In 2011, when Teresa ended, Boyer began a relationship with telenovela producer José Alberto Castro. However, her family, especially her father Patrick, did not support the relationship because of the age difference between them. Boyer was 25 years old, while Castro was 53 years old.
Nevertheless, the couple managed to stay together for three years until 2014, when the relationship ended much to the delight of Boyer’s father.
Boyer and Castro went to Twitter to announce their separation in a joint statement that said
“Through this medium, we want to let you know that after a wonderful relationship filled with love, it has become our decision to end it. At this moment in our lives, we have to deal with responsibilities that do not allow us to maintain our love as it should be. We ask for your understanding and respect so that no speculations arise. We will make no other statement.”
Sad for Boyer is also her mother, Sylvie Rousseau, who died in 2014. She died from complications of heart disease. She was 49 years old.
In the midst of her tragedy, Boyer found love in the eyes of her acting colleague Sebastián Rulli. They confirmed their relationship in September 2014 and telenovela fans saw the chemistry between them for the first time when they played together in Teresa.
Surprisingly at this time Rulli’s marriage with his then-wife, the actress Cecilia Galliano, had just fallen apart. Rulli and Galliano were together for nearly a decade. They entered into the marriage in 2007 and divorced in 2011 shortly after the birth of their first son Santi. Their divorce agreement was preceded by a messy legal battle that fortunately ended when the two buried the hatchet to have their son Santi as a co-parent.
While Boyer was with Teresa producer Castro, Rulli was with actress Aracely Arambula, but they separated in 2013, a year before Boyer and Castro separated.
Since announcing their relationship to the public in September 2014, Boyer and Rulli have treated their fans to many sweet snapshots of their intimate excursions.
According to People, there seems to be no bad blood between Boyer and Rulli’s ex-wife Cecilia Galliano.
