Sources tell us that he has a Croatian background, so we can say that he is “Croatian-American”, it is also believed that he is of Czechoslovak descent.

But that didn’t quite pay off for him. He then graduated from Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California. When he was 21 years old, he dropped out of college to work at G4 (a media company where he had previously interned while still in college).

Adam worked at G4 for about 10 months in the various crew departments as a talent booking assistant before he was laid off. Shortly after his dismissal, his friend Bruce Greene helped him get a job at Machinima (a next-generation gaming company). At Machinima, he spent more than 8 years as an executive producer and moderator in a division of Machinima called Inside Gaming. This was the beginning of Adam’s illustrious career.
However, on January 26, 2015, Adam left Machinima and a large majority of Machinima employees working in the Inside Gaming department joined him. Some of the notable names are Bruce Greene, James William, Lawrence Sonntag, Sean Poole, Joel Rubin, and Matt Peake. Together they formed Funhaus (a division of the media and entertainment company called Rooster Teeth). Adam is basically the creative director at Funhaus, and his responsibilities there include online video content creation, acting, voiceovers, and hosting shows, podcasts, and live streams.
